No, not the airfield itself... Am I going crazy, or do I remember attending an auction of a huge stash of ancient aircraft spares at a ramshackle old chicken farm at Bovingdon many (10-15) years ago?
(by 'ancient' I mean a whole bunch of stuff dating back to WWII)
Can anyone confirm my memory? Who owned this stuff, why had it been stashed so long, and why was it being auctioned?
