Just seen the BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane overhead Daventry 1.35pm on their way south to Kemble. No sign of a Dakota but it was great to see them flying at about 2,000 feet – couldn’t imagine how hot those guys are… Sat watching the Dad’s Army film on sky one and 2 Merlins roar into earshot for real. Pretty sweet.
Ps. Thanks to everyone at Wittering for a fantastic day on Thursday 16th June. The Gr7 office sure does look more ‘analogue’ from the inside than its exterior might have us believe.
Does anyone know if the Dakota is @ Kemble or whether they scrapped it from the line up as it wasn’t in convoy?
