IAA PPL Exams

Hi All,

I have a quick question, are the IAA (irish aviation authority)PPL exams recognised internationally?
Starting the groundschool tomorrow and I would to confirm that after the exams (if i pass) that I can go over to the states and finsish off my PPL and do some hour building with the exams out of the way.

I know of someone who did their PPL exams in Ireland came over to the states and the CAA wouldn't accept them and was made to do them all again over here for the issue of his PPL.

If I were you I'd ring the CAA and if they say they are acceptable, get it in writing!
