Hey everyone.
Im just wondering, if I was to train and pass all of the PPL requirements. Would I be a fully licenced PPL pilot? OR would I have to wait until im back in the UK and my liceencece has been validated by the CAA?

Im hoping to get my PPL in July for 9weeks, and would like to know if theres any chance I would be ablde to carry any passengers whilst out there, subject to the aircraft owners rules and regulations and insurance issues.

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers guys :-)
Alex

ikea, double check on Lasors but I'm pretty sure that you aren't licensed until you get the paper work back from the CAA.

If you train, and test, for a JAA PPL then the answer is "NO". You will not be a licenced pilot and you may not carry passengers UNLESS you have an instructor with you (and the passengers go in the back).

If you train for - or pass the test for - an FAA PPL then "YES" - you may carry passengers immediately.

Other Countries? - I've no idea.
