Hearing a rather different sound to the usual procession of A 319s I looked up to see a four engined type slip between the clouds over Camberley this eveing ( downwind from Ockham for LHR).
Broad wing and four engines, noisy ones, lead me to wonder was it rare DC8 visit to LHR or just another A340. I really didnt geta good look but it didnt seem to have the span of a 340 but hard to tell the height with the clouds- anyone have any idea? It passed overhead me-near Camberley at 18 30 ish so no doubt landed about 5-6 mins later
