I'm pretty sure that Princess Elizabeth hasn't flown yet, but I would think that there'll be some happy snappers around when she does (if not for the first flight then certainly for a subsequent one).

Not having access to many of the UK magazines, can someone post some history on this ship? It's one of the prettiest airplanes ever IMHO. Does this one have a Cyclone or Twin Wasp? The proportions of the cowl suggest a twin row engine but I've been fooled before.

And - pedantery rules. Curtiss (note spelling) built this ship.

The engine on the Hawk-75 is a Twin Wasp.

Don't know if its a trick of the light, but does it have RAF roundels under the wings?

Look like Froggy roundels to me. Blue bit in the middle.
