Could anyone clarify this issue for me. I recently downloaded a Trident 2 for my flight simulator. The thing is the maximum bank angle using the autopilot is 20 degrees. By my calculation this wouldn't produce a rate 1 turn at speeds above about 150 kts. As vectors & corners in holding patterns are executed using rate 1 turns as standard (so I'm told) can anyone explain this. The model is apparently faithful to the original.

As you start getting faster than Piper Cherokee type speeds, rate 1 turns become impossible to achieve- you cannot turn quicker than 3 degrees/sec at speeds faster than about 120kts (or whatever- not sure what the final speed is where you can maintain 3 degrees/sec turn rate). So you accept whatever rate of turn your type will achieve at procedure speeds at the maximum bank used, which for passenger comfort is usually 25 degrees.

Is there no burying this T thing?
