Bombardier are to enlarge their Northern Ireland operation.
For more details from RTE, see here (http://www.rte.ie/business/2005/0513/bombardier.html)
Great news for shorts, pity they didnt get the final assembley line contract tho.:ok:
Final assembly : 10% of the profit, 90% of the problems .....

well, they should use Mirabel for something I suppose, only so many "Terminal" movies to be made!
Interesting that the UK are making the biggest contribution!
As for the federal "loans" - that's also known as the "Ontario-Alberta keep Quebec in Canada fund".
edited to ask: how the hell did this end up in "Non Airline Transport Issues"? The last C-Series thread ended up in Bizjets. Did Bombardier pee in a mods beer or something?
Well, I'm just here to catch these things:D but thread history shows it being merged/mangled and moved via tech, R&N and now here. Don't ask me! At least it is still going somwhere!:D
If you feel strongly about it, link at the page bottom takes you to 'email admin'.
