I have just arrived in France for two weeks and am flexible on where I can go. Does anybody have any recommendations for interesting aviation related places. Museums, airshows, manufacturers. General Aviation or transport category. Thanks

Museum at Le Bourget is good, plus the flying museum at La Ferte Alais. Both in Paris area.

Or you could go for a mountain flying trip in the Alps with an instructor and land at an altiport or fly around Mont Blanc.

Head for the mountains! The Auvergne is a very nice area, for ideas :

Gouffre de Padirac is intersting for an hour or two : http://www.gouffre-de-padirac.com/

Have fun!
