We're all aware of the significant problems with standard phraseology engendered in AIP. Perhaps the time has come to return to basics. Pope Benedict XVI may have something useful for all of us:

Handy Latin Phrases

My personal favourite is in blue on the left, under the bit that says 'Keg'.

It means 'now we must drink'.

Don't bother using flaps for the take-off, you've got heaps of runway, and it just wears out the flap tracks.
