Regret that BBC web site saying that the body of an American pilot has been found in Iraq. No other details.

Not really. This from the CNN link above:

'Late last year, Marine Corps officials said a sharp increase in deadly accidents involving Marine aircraft had forced a close look at possible causes.'

This is certainly a peculiar statement. Unless it is merely media-speak, I would expect possible causes of any and all accidents to be looked at closely, even 'deadly' ones. Of course, if they are not being looked at, more of same will continue to occur.
