I'm going to be needing accommodation as well, so if anyone has recently trained for CPL/IR at Exeter, recommendations would be very useful.

Thanks,

LF

I was at a B & B called Forth, run by a couple called Pam and Barry when I was at Flightpass last year doing my MEP/IR.

It's a couple of miles from the airport in a lovely location. Their number is 01404 822694.

Hi guys,

I stayed in Exeter (Whimple) for two weeks quite recently with the BUSY BEE B and B, I had an absolute fantastic time there - great breakfast, good facilities and great company all round.

Theres few good reasons why to choose this B and B....

1. Day room for all your needs - drinks, meals(kitchen) T.V and for socialising with a comfy feel and great view.

2. There will without a doubt be other pilots there probably doing their type ratings as I was with a local company - so you never be lost for conversation and may learn a thing or two about all the different avenues into getting that first job.

3. Alec the owner will talk about aviaiton whenever he can!! he also has a microlight!!!

4. Parking facilities.

5. Dont forget this one!!! It was cheap!

Hope this helps any of you looking to stay in and around Exeter Airport.

Regards
