Hi,

Would anybody know which is the best (or the worst) time to do training in Florida.

I.E. weather wise

Is it too hot/humid in the summer?
When is hurricane season?

Trying to get time off work and would like to know what time of the year will give the greatest chance of building up some hours

I'd suggest winter. For UK/Ireland denizens it is *very* hot & *very* humid in FL in summer. Summer also brings turbulance & regular thunderstorms.

None of the above is conducive to training.

november - april. basically you'll have to wait a year, or if you do go, be prepared to stay for about 2 months to get a ppl

I would say Summer.

good thermals, good pumps , it will expedite you in the Cunimb with less fuel and at 15000 ft/min.

man!!!, you will climb like a rocket, and as a bonus, you can grab some ice around your fuselage for your ice-tea!!!:p
