Wot you lookin' forward to?

Not just here in Blighty... come on you colonials, what are you looking forward to seeing fly?

Here in the UK, word is that several containers have ben seen outside Hangar 2 at Duxford. The TFC Hawk 75? Different and, I'd suggest, unique.

The Scissors Spit. A PR.19 with a Griffon 56 and contra props - inaccurate but what the hey? Wow!

TFC's P-51B. Or P-51C. Which? Who cares, it's unique this side of the pond.

Mark Jeffries in his Extra... in fact, anybody doin' a decent balls-out aeroabtics display...

And Guy Westlake in the Fox glider... likewise wow...

Over to you...

It would be good to see the Typhoon flown to the limits, and any Griffon-engined Spits are always welcome.
Can't say the Hawk does anything at all for me, I've always thought a Stuka would be the ultimate vintage airshow performer - but that's a bit off-thread (or a Stormovik, or a Me-110, or a Beaufighter, or a Sabre-engined Tempest/Typhoon, or a.....sorry, I'll get me coat).

There are two that I would like to see this year but are not sure if they are going to fly.

The Comet at Shuttleworth, it would be great to see it back in the air again.

The second is the VULCAN, if and when it flies at an airshow it will be the best airshow since it last flew at one, and what would be even better was if it was painted White.

Oh, and can we please have a Lightning back from South Africa to escort it, its not fair that they can fly them and we can't.

Wasn't there talk of a Buc flying this year, does anyone know if this is going to happen.

Thank you to all that post for making our air shows the pleasure that they are.
My best and most sincere wish is for a safe season.

I'm looking foward to seeing XL577 the Blue Diamonds Hunter that Delta Jets have spent the last few years rebuilding.

See below for more info on XL577 and some nice photos.

On the lighter side, is the Polystyrene (?) Po-2 going to fly at Old Warden? On the heavier side, any of the Constellations would be nice if the totally crazy EU rules on insurance don't ground them.

2005 will also mark the debut of Skyblue Aviation's Hawker Hunter FGA.9 XE601, or G-ETPS as it is now known.

Besides that, I'm looking forward to seeing the RNHF Sea Fury and Sea Hawk.
2005 will be their comeback season after just the four events last year.

I’ve been looking forward to seeing the return of a Gannet to the airshow circuit… Anyone know what’s happened to it?

The red bull air races in Abu Dhabi were good but I dont think the CAA will let them display as well at Longleat.
