Does anyone know the current whereabouts, status and plans for this beautiful aircraft?

I remember seeing it at RIAT Fairford in 2003 in a state of restoration but I have not seen anything since.

Another resident with Jet Heritage (or whatever they are called) at Bournemouth I think...

Incidently, are they still rebuilding her to fly, or has that ambition been abandoned?

Love to see it in the air...

Last I heard it had been aquired by Southampton hall of aviation, for a static display. Never to grace the skies again I'm afraid.

Yeah thats right its going to be static only, however lets look on the bright side its doing a lot better than WK275, the example at upper hill.

Anyway the project to get G-SWIF flying had sufferd loads of setbacks and technical issues, so if it would ever have made it into the sky is doubtful.

She's safely tucked away somewhere in storage in the Hampshire area from what I've been told.
I'm guessing the Solent Sky (the Hall of Aviation was recently renamed) Scimitar is keeping it company.
