G'day,

Hardly a rumour or news

Try the wannabes section and D&G forums.

Don't forget to apply for a work visa (Working Holiday) to be eligible to work in Oz.

Although it may be possible to (illegally) find work without one, you will be exploited by the employer, by way of underpayment.
There are heavy fines for both employer and employee, if caught working without the appropriate visa.

Bankstown, in Sydney is the main airport for flying training, however there are several others within about an hour's drive that will provide you with the training you need to get a PPL (and above).

Avagreattime, mate!

Plenty of work anywhere doing anything in Syd! every second factory has a positions vacant sign, and almost every restaurant/cafe is begging for staff.

as for the PPl. if your in syd, get some share accomodation, thats all you will be able to afford,

and check out Bankstown airport, Hoxton Park, and about an hours drive, you will get a Camden airport.

all thee places have good reputible schools, and the mix of bad.
