As of the 1st of April Jeppesen Aust are now based in Canberra. Sadly Darren is no longer with them and it is basically a whole new crew. Why the move to Canberra with double the staff? Only time will tell but lots of suggestions that AirServices may be giving up the publications side of the ops and giving it all to Jeppesen. Will be interesting to see how that will affect the cost of everything as with the steadily increasing cost of all AirServices pubs the last thing we all need is further increases

Is Geoff Brown still at the helm, or has he retired?

I believe he is now a "consultant"

Anybody got a list of the staff working there now. GB did a very good job in sometimes trying circumstances.

Despite what people might think, Jeppesen is not bad value; a 14 day update service, and (most importantly) far more accurate and easier to use than DAPS.

I for one would not lament AA getting out of the publications business.

Terry Wesley-Smith is now the new Aust Jeppesen Chief. He is a good man and will no doubt be good for Jepp and for all of us who use Jepps instead of the AsA rubbish.

Sebastian Lip replaced Terry at Pilatus. Go you good thing.

Good luck to Geoff in his "Semi" retirement. Thanks Geoff for being such a leader in Australian Aviation. We owe you a great debt. Terry has mighty big shoes to fill.
