Is my son correct in telling me that there are no 757's on the French register. Presently there is an Axis Airways sitting at SEN on N-reg but cannot be F-registered until the might of the French CAA have had a few rides and permitted 757's onto the French register.

that is true, there have not been any 757 registered before in France. I am sure though it should pass the CAA of France, as many poorer conditioned aircraft already have.

The April issue of Aircraft Illustrated, page 12, states that Axis Airways F-HAXY will be the first of the type on the French register.
(No, I didn't know that either.)
