Can anybody help identify this helicopter, what it is, what its used for?

It is white with a red stripe on it, its looks like a EC120 and flies most days in a line between Cambridge (EGSC) and Wattisham MATZ - or heading east towards wattisham MATZ from the west?

Any ideas please let me know??

RHM, you have not made your intentions clear as to why you need to know this info.....

However, if you care to look through the CAA register for EC120s, you will find G-FEDA which is registered to an address approx 7 miles due west of Wattisham (put the post code into www.multimap.com to check) and is white with a red stripe. Photo here (http://www.caa.co.uk/applicationmodules/ginfo/ginfo_photo.aspx?regmark=G-FEDA&imgname=G-FEDA001&imgtype=jpg)

Thanks for the help - The photo looks like thats it,

It was purley out of interest - An EC120 flying on the same heading most days - just interesting to know what it was up to,

Never mind "helicopter-redeye" - Ill have to come up with a tougher one next time - Remember the post a while back

"identifying this strange old heli" - went on for days and we never found out the answer

I think Peter conceded that it was the final picture shown in the end.

Perhaps we could have a 'moving rotor tip only recognition' corner for real sport ...
