I heard that a Britist airways jet was at Darwin airport last saturday(19-03). Does anyone know the reason? Is Darwin their latest destination? :O

mk943

Mrs Claret's son was called to an international flight enroute to some where in Asia on Saturday evening to retrieve a recently deceased passenger.

Perhaps it was BA?

Yeah, it was a BA B747-400 diverted to DN due to a medical emergency.

Was only on the ground for an hour or so before it carried on. Don't know where it came from or where it was heading, though.

I believe it was BA10 SYD/BKK which had to offload the deceased pax in DN.

Sorry Mk943, as no crocs were involved and the deceased couldn't give an interview, the News Editor couldn't see any value in it.

And what with there being no hint of a crime well, where's the (NT) news in that?
