Hello All !

Just wondered if it's alright to send off letters / CV's to airlines before completing an MCC and also before getting my nice brand spanking new licence back from the CAA ?

I suppose if I was lucky enough to get an interview straight away (yeah right) and I didn't have my licence or MCC completed by then, the airline may think I was a little fast at bashing out the CV's and I could have wasted my/their time!!

Any thoughts in this please?

If you are young ATPL with low hours, probably stand a better chance than older experienced pilot.

So, is 28 young? :D

Might stand a chance if so, and I have low hours and dont shave yet! Great stuff!

Had a similar conversation with an experienced business man and he gave me these wise words:

Target the airlines you think you want to work for and ring them. Ask them what their recruiting process is and pose the very same question to them.
