I am converting my FAA certificates and have to retake the cpl law exam soon. Do I need to get a signature from a flight instructor on my KDR before i retake the exam. I'm not sure of the process for conversions etc.

Also,

Have the regs been changed yet? There was talk last year of the requirements to convert to Australian ATPL to be more stringent..
whats the deal anyone.

thanks

Re-taking the exam means you can effectively disregard the KDR from your earlier attempt. You will get a new KDR after the re-sit, unless of course you score 100%.
The one from the time you pass the exam is the one you show the testing officer when you see one.
