Apart from the Aussie Jibes, here is some information.

NBA flew her last operation for Air NZ last night (06/03/05) as NZ 106 SYD AKL as per TV1 news. 74,000 hours TT and just under 20 years in service.

Was sub leased to Ansett Aussie for a few years as well.

All three are CF6-80A powered and have a MTOW of 163,300 from the factory which was the highest GW option at the time, but were operated at lower max weight when they were moved to the Tasman and pacific only run when the last of the 300 series was delivered. Large lower cargo doors forward and aft. Three hour ETOP's approved with Air NZ.

NBB and NBC were in good nick inside and outside when released from Air NZ operations, but NBA was a bit on the rough side interior wise.

Although high TT they all have low cycles due to the long sector flight time in the first 15 years.

Thanx mate.

I appreciate it , they will all be built into freighters and continue cargo ops with STAR AIR in Europe.
