As I understand it this is old news. They've been investigated (RAF Regt doing prisoner escort duties moving prisoners back during ops) and exonherated.

Any prisoner cooks off in my cab, they'd get shown the door.

So it seems to be acceptable practise now for a person from a sandy warm place, (raghead) to chop the occasional westerner's (including charity workers) heads off, but as soon as one of them gets a wee bit ruffed up for stealing, our very own tabloids hit our boys heavy. Maybe we should have applied the local laws and chopped their right hands off for looting, at least they would still be alive.

From Sky News:

RAF STAFF INVESTIGATED OVER IRAQ MURDER

Three members of the RAF are reportedly at the centre of a investigation into allegations an Iraqi prisoner was beaten to death on a helicopter.

The Daily Mail said the incident involved the transfer of 10 prisoners within Iraq to an airfield where they were to be questioned.

A Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "There are some nine cases that are currently with prosecuting authorities and they are considering whether or not they should go for trial."

The spokesman was unable to confirm the details of the newspaper claim.

Sources confirmed that one of the nine cases involved the RAF.
