Faa 737 Type Rating

Does anyone know if it is worthwhile trying to save some money and do an FAA 737 Type Rating then converting it to a JAA one ??? Is this possible and is there still a chance of a job if it is done this way ???

Do we know anyone who can do the conversion ?

I´ve checked this up with the Swedish CAA, and the said that you have to have 500 hours on type FAA, before converted to JAA.

My tip is to contact your country´s CAA.

The FAA TR is not comperable to the JAA one so suggest to spend a little more if you want to. If in doubt don't spend anything :hmm:

So what is the difference then between an FAA and a JAA 737 rating?
