What is the tandem-seater jet trainer (by the looks of things) at Manston? Looks like a late 50s design, single-engined, in a non-descript colour scheme.

Probably - although I didn't notice the T-tail, and I thought the canopy wasn't so faired into the fuselage at the rear. I didn't get a great view of it (it's to the east of a fairly active hangar which had the CG Islander parked close to.

I was whizzing past as pax on Eujet ...

nope, it's a TS11 Iskra, reg GBXVZ.

Operated by TG Aviation which was started by Ted Girdler, ex Red Arrow Pilot who tragically lost his life a few years back at the Eastbourne Air Show, when the L-39 (??) he was fling crashed into the sea. The outfit is now run by his son Mark.
