I think it would just be scanned version if there was one available. Why don't you just scan your own one - assuming your entitled to be using them anyway. (Looks like your on the CTC Wings scheme?)

Having looked around even AIDU doesn't have one.

Right, to the scanner.

No mate whatever the CTC Wings thing is not on that.

Job for the boss doing.

Have you tried the MIL AIP? Is it in there?

Thanks dudes. Looks like the bullet will be bitten and I'll scan the 'kin thing and piece it together.

Showing ignorance here ... what is UK (L) 2. If it is UK mapping then I may be able to help. We hold digitised half and quarter mil charts for all of UK. PM me for further details.

Try using a digi camera, probably easier than trying to find a scanner that does A0 or whatever size the chart is :D

It is the British Isles ['UK'] en route low altitude ['(L)'] aviation chart number 2 ['2'] ;)

I think you may be able to get the image off the Falcon View Software, it has to be good for something. Try phoning around some of the Sqns at Leuchars.

Giant Swede might be on to something there suggesting Leuchars - doesn't TAMPA have the whole UKLFS in digital form for map display for pre-flight planning?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't TAMPA a couple of levels above -R, so imagine that even if you were able to 'download' the digital image you seek, the output media would be -S. Certainly this is the case for most systems like this, though I am aware that there are one or 2 exceptions.

Hard to believe 1 AIDU can't offer assistance - aren't they the producers of this stuff?

Aren't those paper charts?

SirToppam - I just don't know. You may well be right; I haven't had close hands on experience of it or HAMPA.

I thought that AIDU had digitised all of their mapping operation, starting several years ago.

Digital camera is certainly something I would try - pics could easily be imported into PowerPoint...

Is this what you are looking for?

If not it may be in here somewhere:

Right lads, cheers for all suggestions.

Would you adam and eve it, AIDU don't dish out digital version of ERCs. I was told so by them rather rudely I thought.

T/HAMPA can't be downloaded from as SirToppam quite rightly pointed out is in the classifieds.

Imagegear, sorry mate, paper after all.

Digi camera + juditious scanning done the trick.

Thanks all.

StbdD: links dont seem to work but thanks for trying.

Be aware the scale will distort if you scan/photo the map - I don't think it's too much to worry about - but we weren't allowed to do that in training for that reason (only applies to flying with them though of course.)

https://164.214.2.62/dafif/enroutec...0FEB%202005.pdf as posted by stbd works for me, but it's titled L3

It works but it is a USAF map - he wants a Brit map.

Scan it, you don't need very high res so it's not a huge file - an A3 scanner helps though. I have some of the UKL2 scanned, now however out of date. Also its difficult to get rid of the folds.
