with weeks to do, looking at a copy that i found whilst clearing years of **** out of my locker.
will not be near a scanner for a while, need to take leave you understand.
JJ has moved from Letchville I believe.
Book was updated with such classics as

'You've lost that rotor speeding' -
a lament to a certain Senior Officer's earlier flying ability!

'Where's the Puma gone?
he's gone to Monaghan, far far away'
to celebrate AJ's navigation skills

They come over to Ireland just for a swan
Once or twice or year.......

The Puma aircraft,
give it a chance,
a plastic Wessex,
it's built in France,
Aeropatiale, they say it works,
but we know better,
it's flown by Jerks!

Cos we're going on standown,
the plane leaves today.......
we're gonna get lagered in each and every way......

Thanks Folks,

I'll see about getting a copy from JJ "The Engine Driver" .... contacts at Lec will know where he is in the world!

"We don't need to dark Dungannon...... " (to the tune of Another brick in the wall) may not have made the book, but was a great Orange Whip hit in the Swift Retreat...... oh those were the days. Once I unpack (again) I'll post the lyrics.

SAR Buoy ........ W###ers..... Oh cripes I became one ;)

Dope,
Try phoning the FRC section at Boscombe and you will find who you are looking for. I spoke to him just before Christmas and he was still as mad as ever. When do I get my photo back?

...a plastic Wessex, it's built in France,
Hayes, Middlesex actually, but lets not be pedantic. It's only a song. ;)

Ooby doo, I wanna be aircrew-hoo-hoo,
I wanna fly like you, in da sky like you hoo-oo-oo...

There's more in the 103rd Jungle Bashers song book - from the world's greatest (ex-)helicopter squadron.
