Hi Guys,

A few weeks ago I downloaded a free utility that analysed the startup sequence and then changed the order of loading, etc to give the quickest possible time. Worked wonders on mine. And now I can't remember where I got it from or what it was called, and I'm trying to quicken up my brother's laptop. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for your prompt relpy, LL34, but no. It was a standalone prog. that you could set to start up first on windows boot up, and then it analysed the rest of the sequence, after which it came up with a display that explained what was slowing the thing down.

Edit: Found it!..... Bootvis.exe
