I like the respondent in Ireland who, when asked whether he believed in fairies, replied, "I do not. But they're there."
I'd like to find this guy and give him a slap accross the head! :}

"...I do not much like flying. I have always found the laws of aerodynamics implausible. "
Oh, how trendy and articulate...

Chiglet - anyone who believes in invisible fairies and anyone who refers to them when talking about the principles of flight! :ok:
Quick question(always wanted to ask) - what does "watp,iktch" mean?

Begarrah Chiglet,
Did you know we only eat cabbage and drink whiskey? And chase rainbows and speak to the "little people"? Ah, it's a busy life . . .

Hey lighten up all. It's a whimsical piece. Many is the time I've sat looking at the wings and thinking. 'Nah, I don't care what the books say. It must be magic. ' And I'm the pilot!
I suspect that the garden shed was an AN2. Fits with the period and the context.
