View Full Version : Modular with more hours??

What to do?

I know, I know, I know. This has been covered quite a lot, but I promise that this is a slightly different question!

As far as employability is concerned, do we:

1) spend a big bag of money on an integrated.

Or

2) Spend a smaller amount of money on a modular AND get a load more hours in?

I suppose the question is whether it’s best to go on a nice shiny integrated course, or to go modular and get a load more hours in (100 – 150)? Naturally, I’m only talking little planes with one engine here.

Cheers!

Errr, nope. It's not a slightly different question. It's the same one that you know has been done to death.

Look back at any of them - pick the answer you would like. They'll never change.

Not sure where those figures come from, but on the modular route you'll get spat out the other end with 225 hrs if you do everything in the minimums. I think the integrated route gives you 180.... but I may well be wrong on that.
