Just heard someone in the Headland lift saying Moscow is coming on stream sometime in 05 with a possible Manchester extension. Anyone know if this is true and what equipment will be used? Thanks

fleet form about 6 months ago indicated that it was going to be the 400. But that is a long time ago around here, and it was FF are not necessarly the last word...

Excellent news - so the plan is a 34C, not the dreaded (from a premium pax point of view) 34D?

Is the 34C and the 34D refering to the A330 3 class and A330 2 class seating arrangment of aircraft?
Thanks in advance.

Are BA likely to codeshare on the new Cathay Manchester - Moscow - Hong Kong route?

An interesting idea (if it all goes ahead). Not 100% sure what the win for BA would be? Cathay's Northern based customers will presumably be delighted they can avoid the schlep to the worlds favourite airport (sic)...

If! it does happen then wouldn't it be a Oneworld flight, therefore BA, AA, CX etc etc?

so presumably use Terminal 3 aswell?

Who cares as long as more Russian Women arrive in HKG!

I believe CX want to put in there own staff and not share the BA terminal.

So when can we expect tickets to go on sale for the MAN - MOS - HKG route? Surely things ought to be moving now for a summer 05 start?

Slots have been applied for I believe, catering contract in negotiation, the hurdle I'm told is the Russian side of things, you jump when they say so and not before.

It'll be the typical CX thing the decision will be made, and when do you want it for? yesterday as usual? And then it will be the wrong one!!:oh:
