Looks like it could be a problem in some cases, but I wouldn't worry about it though. Just download ZoneAlarm or another free firewall, and it won't be a problem. And as the article mentions, for those people with hardware routers, it won't matter either.

Hmm - had 4 critical updates the other day - all to fix potential security problems.

Death to hackers and to unsecured operating systems. All commercial operating systems should have to meet some minumum requirement for security design. Microsoft isn't the only one who has security problems, but they do seem to have disproportionately large number of them.

ZA or a Hardware Firewall from a Router and you are fine. ;)
