Me too, nosefirsteverytime, I kept getting a "not authorised" message. I don't visit chat very often so I posted a query about it myself. Read through the FAQs but they're not much help to a techno-retard like me unfortunately. :(

In the interests of research (I forbid myself from going into chat when at the office, on the grounds of justifying it as work related might be a touch difficult) I just breezed in and out with no problems. As Hawk says, some users did experience problems around this time last year and SWH's research helped many people out.
