Looks to be Alaska, and without any comment on the mental state of the pilot flying the aircraft, that took some balls.

It's called waterskiing!!! Very naughty & dangerous. Kids, don't try this at home!

have also seen footage of this in a cub. with the bush wheels on it, you would be flat out getting the wheels to dig in, i would reckon. light airframe and 31" loooow pressure tyres. what do you reckon trouper?

In my very limited experience of such silliness:E ....you may be right 185....certainly works OK on 8.50 x 6 tyres on a C185.

I've heard as long as it has a tailwheel and you put the park brakes on it'll work with any machine.

I've also been told it's better if the waters not too choppy and if it's glassey you have to pull a bit of flap on to pop off the surface and watersking doesn't clean the aircraft.

I was told by a Canadian geologist that they used to put Beaver wheels on Piper cubs, and DC3 wheels on beavers for flying around way up nrith. About 4 psi in the tyres.
