I sold a piece of old rope on eBay, and got a tenner for it.

Just goes to show that there's money in old rope- in fact, this little experiment showed that old rope trades at about £4.50 per metre.

So now you know.

Strangely enough, I took a look at her (my guess from the name!) history to find she bought this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1523&item=5531052894) which is the 'All you need to know about making soaps and millions of pounds on E-Bay guide' in October................entrepreneurial or gullible? You decide.

Good luck to her though, but at £9.99 + £3 p+p I doubt she's going to sell many; for £12.99 you can get an awful lot more at Superdrug............

I must admit I think the person selling the guide for £3.99 a go is probably going to make more money.;)

I think selling these would be much more profitable....

Yes, this is for real... (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=324&item=5540829081&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)

Anyone who has seen 'Fight Club' should never buy a bar of soap again!

(And yes, I do stink!)

Pilot Pete?.....more like Detective Pete.
I can hear that soap-flogger now ( in a Homer Simpson voice)......" Doh!!! That bloody Pilot Pete, ruining my brilliant plan, now I'll never be able to get that licence ".

At least he/she isn't using Captain Robert Piche's (of the famous 'Air Transat Glider') method for licence funding ( smuggling drugs), and that has to be applauded.....as does the way Piche rehabilitated himself and his life. I imagine the adrenaline rush he experienced enroute to the Azores could not be bettered by taking any amount of the drugs he was caught smuggling, although I hope never to be in a position to confirm.
