Hi all
I am reaserching the history of Jet Provost T.3A XN584, now preserved at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire, England. Does anyone have any details of her history, or have her in their log book's? Any information, no matter how small would be appriciated.

I flew said JP 3A on Dec 8 , Dec 12 and Dec 17 in 1980 at Leeming on the CFS course. I've had a quick check but can't find that particular JP in my Logbook after these entries-I instructed at Linton On Ouse from 80-83 so I assume it either stayed at Leeming or went down to Cranwell. Having said that were the JPs at Cranwell not all Mk 5s??

The last T3 entry I have at Cranwell is 28 Oct 1974. So they left sometime soon after that.

584 was the very first Mk3 that I flew as a stude on Dec 10 1965, flew it on several trips throughout the course up to Feb 67. The a/c must haved stayed at Cranwell as it does not appear in my log book whilst doing the CFS course at Little Ris nor as a QFI at Linton.

At some point it went to Leeming; when I was on the CFS staff I didn't fly it whilst we were at Cranwell, it next appears on Oct 3rd 77 when CFS had moved up north. Having been the first Mk3 I flew, it was virtually the last 3A that I flew on 6 Dec 77, with only 3 trips after that before posting.
