Rumour has it that someone high up in the CAA(aka Campaign Against Aviation) has put pressure on Nats atcos at an airfield in the north west of the UK to refrain from entering into debate/discussion on this esteemed website.
However, following the setting up of a Nats forum and the untimely disappearance of a healthy debate between BFS/Scottish atcos over the recent introduction of new procedures in the Belfast TMA, I am forced to conclude that this rumour may well be true.. .What are they scared of, surely not criticism or dissent in the ranks? Or even worse, comments from non-Nats atcos who may wish to debate issues which also affect them. . .What happened to free speech? Would anyone at CAA or Nats like to enlighten us as to the current status quo.. .I do hope I have been wrongly informed, but fear that sadly "Big Brother" may well be taking over!
Sleeping's permitted, dribbling isn't!
