Thought some of you guys out there may appreciate this 15 min video clip. It’s about the United States 8th Air Force raid on Schweinfurt, Germany, April 13th 1944 and is dedicated to the members of the 384th Bomb Group, 545th Squadron.

Link (http://www.virtualwarcinema.com/Movies/Last%20Man%20Standing.avi)

It is a virtual reality composition put together using the IL2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles PC game, but very impressive none the less. It’s 115Mb so be warned!

My hat goes of to the guys who put it together and more importantly to the guys who took part on the mission.

Brilliant, S2, thanks! :ok:

I am not much for video games, but that was an impressive movie. Always nice to see someone pay tribute to the great heroes!

What a fantastic video..I'm flabbergasted...Whoever did it deserves an award. Seen from both sides makes it a well balanced piece.

To all those that did well, well done.

Given the amount of time this is taking to download.... it had better be good.

In a nutshell, it is a re-enactment of a WW II bombing raid on Schweinfurt, done using a PC game. Interesting, but if you are expecting something else than you may be disappointed.

Plus, it took about 12 minutes to download using my ADSL, so if you have broadband it shouldn't take that long. If you don't, then you should...

Cheers! M2

Only one out of a whole squadron, puts in it perspective really.

Anyone able to shed any light on which pieces of music they used?
