Have noticed lately while blearily waiting at the traffic lights behind the new car park at Melbourne airport (where the main entry road crosses Center road) that a startling new innovation alerts you the lights are about to turn green. The last 3 cars through the crossing are illuminated by a bright flash of light from somewhere on the left, reminding me to put the bike into gear and edge in front of the taxi before they change.

Now, if they enforced the Airport speed limit there'd be cause for alarm :\
