Is there any more info on the rumour about all cargo aircraft having to have a loadmaster on board?

Not true, as long as there is a Loadmaster at origin and destination stations, no Loadmaster is needed onboard.

There isn't an awful lot a Loadmaster could do once the aircraft is airborne anyway
