NWA Cargo plans to expand its all-cargo freighter service between the United States and China as a result of the July bilateral agreement between the two nations. The U.S. Department of Transportation recently awarded Northwest 6 additional weekly flights to China, for a total of 8. NWA Cargo anticipates operating 8 weekly Boeing 747 Freighter flights from Anchorage to Shanghai.
