Sadly I report the passing of Phil Carveth this afternoon at his home in Caloundra after a long battle with a brain tumour. Phil was a former School Teacher, Police Officer, Airline Pilot with Flight West and more recently a flying instructor and CFI here on the Sunshine Coast.
He was a great bloke and a ton of fun......
He will be missed by many.

I can advise for those interested, that Phil's funeral service will be at the Crematorium at Gregson and Weight, Caloundra (that's near the Police Station) at 1100 on Wednesday 3 Nov 04.
