Just looking out my window here in Melbourne and I've noticed someone was doing some digital type signwriting with 5 aircraft in formation. I remember seeing something on it on the teev when I was a wee tacker (about 20 years ago) about someone in the US doing it with 5 harvards in formation and a computer controlling when the smoke goes on and off

Lo and behold someone here is doing it now. I can see the five aircraft up there now (19-10-04 16:30).

Who's behind it and what are they using - they are a bit high to make an ID.

Bevan..

apparently they do it in Bankstown as well. Very cost effective i hear and only takes about 30 mins per plane to set up.

Soon you will see ICUS pilots paying for the priv I guess..

Hey Bevan666

Was just talking to someone about that method the other day. There was a guy messing around with it down at MB a few years ago. CFI at MFTA, Northern Ave at MB. Scott Talman is his name so try him first. He may have hand-balled it on but sure he had it all down there a while ago.

Good luck
