Hello,

Is it possible to fly a NZ reg aircraft in Europe on a JAA license?
In that case can you just fly in that particular country where your license is issued or can you fly in other JAA countries as well?
Can you fly IFR?

It would be private flights and I have a JAR certificate.

Many questions... I hope someone can help out.

/Regards

The country of registration determinds the licence required, not where it flies.

In the case of JAA region countries then a JAR licence required.

I shall "take your word for it."

I found some similarities to US FAR 61 on
http://www.caa.govt.nz/
It seems like that NZ also have a FAR 61 and it says that "each pilot of a NZ reg aircraft within a foreign country must hold an appropriate current pilot license 1..2,..3. issued or validated by the country in which the aircraft is operated..4."

I guess it should be ok to fly in my home country (Sweden) on my JAR cert and even IFR but I am not sure about flying in a neighbour country (for ex. Denmark) where my cert is not issued even though it is a another JAA country.

Thanks for your answers,
