Can anyone tell me what the heli instructor scene is like at the moment in NZ. I am a UK citizen, currently hold JAA CPL(H) and really would like to move lock stock and barrel to NZ. Therefore I see instructing in NZ as a good starting career. Any thoughts/decent FTOs people?

Don't know much about the heli scene in NZ, but or what it's worth, the players I know of are
Northshore helicopters maybe www.nshelicopters.co.nz
based at Dairyflat Aerodrome, north of Auckland City
Heliflight, Waiarapa (southern North Island) based outfit with satelite bases I think, try www.heliflight.co.nz
Helipro, based in Wellington & Palmerston North, do flight training and lots of commercial ops, firefighting etc. Try www.helipro.co.nz
Christcurch Helicopters based at Chch Intl airport and is quite a large flight training org. www.christchurchhelicopters.co.nz
