on a 747-frtr there is a space of about 120cm between positions 13-14/26-27.

When we load the the aircraft (or make up the loading instruction) we call it the "sluff" (or something that sounds similar)
and everybody involved in the loading proces knows what we talk about.

My question is : is there a specific name for this space ?
Some airlines have special pllts to use that space for cargo loading (cx, ly,....), and than they are mostly refered to as QR-QL

All help is very appreciated

:p

Well, you've answered your own question... We call it the "Q" position! Takes a PYB pallet.
