Air Mauritius info?

After some info on Air Mauritius - tried over in African forum but no good, maybe some expats here.

Questions are on behalf of an Ozmate.

Current contact for recruiting?

Requirements for hire, need type rating etc?

I've heard of Perth basings, is this true?

Latest info I can find is from early June, would the contacts in this ad (http://www.airmauritius.com/company/careerplanning/B767Pilots.htm) still be valid?

The contacts are good but the names are for the B767 fleet and I don't think they are looking for anyone on the 767.

If you are A319 or A340 endorsed then it is a different story. They had an ad in Flight International within the last month.

Looking at the ads, it seems if you are not endorsed, it's pretty difficult.

Do they train anyone? Or are all hires already endorsed?

From what I know all new hires are already endorsed.

They will promote ATR pilots on to A319, A340 & B767 as F/O's and provide the training with a bond of course.

Also promote on the B767 right to left. A340 F/O to A319 Capt and A319 Capt to A340 Capt.

Any new hires on the Buses or Boeing have to be already endorsed.

That is just my personal view from observation.

Never heard of the Perth basing. And if it did happen there would be a long line in front of you.
