I will be flying QF 518 Perth - Sydney this Sat, and QF 583 Sydney - Perth the following Saturday.
According to the Qantas website, I will be flying on an Airbus A330-300 outward, and A330-200 return. A couple of questions:
1) I know there is not a 100 % certainty, but is it highly likely I will be flying these particular aircraft types?
2) What are the load factors for these particular flights?
3) Do these domestic aircraft have the new 'bed' type seats in business class?
4) What is the likelyhood of upgrading to business class on either of these flights using Qantas F. Flyer points?

Any replies/info. gratefully recieved.

1) Highly likely to stay an A330, but the -200/300 could vary.
2) Load factors are resonably high.
3) Skybed configuration for international flights only.
4) No idea!

Capt Fathom is correct, but obviously if you get a 330-300 on one leg, it will have the skybed in business

I may have been given duff gen here...?
The original group of A330-300 are configured for domestic ops ie. no skybeds.
The last couple (and the ones to follow) have arrived from France configured for international ops with skybed installed.
The earlier -300 are to be reconfigured as they go through maintenance.
As the Hongkong/Asia route is a premium market for QF, the skybed aircraft would be operated there as much as possible.

You could get lucky if one of the Asia to Perth services continued on to Sydney or vice versa. :ok:

Nah Captain Fathom you're right. The -303s have the skybeds, the -301s are yet to be converted to that configuration.

I gotta stop drinking.

Has the suffix of -301 been changed to -303 on the latest A330's because of the skybeds or something else?
