Is it the case that JetStar is going to be modelled on Ryan Air- as such there will eventually be bases in most capital cities so that crews are home most nights at home base. Therefore reducing costs of overnights.
Does anyone have any info on this.

Just thought I would bring this back to the top to see if anyone has anything to add.

Can anyone at least tell me where the current bases are, you don't even have to speculate on future ones.
Also do JetStar do a lot of over nighters.

cheers

TD,

You might get a better response if you place the question in D & G Reporting Points!

Cheers,

bases are (from largest to smallest) south east queensland, melbourne, sydney, hobart and a temp one at newcastle, talk and only talk of a base opening in adelaide, but not for some time, hope that answers your questions
